A purple catman who is a prince and demi-god Mike is known as a Saii, child of the Sil, who is not a Sil themselves. Sil are angels, the direct descendants of God, which makes Mike, as a Saii, a kind of demi-god. His Sil father is non-other than Satoru Michael, one of the universe's greatest champions against the Ziel, and leader of the world's armies. His own creation was the result of Michael forging a treaty with the local Leorich Kerbrillian of Valhass. Because of his father's high status, Mike has never wanted for anything and is haughty, spoiled and indulgent. While not nearly the warlord that his father is known as, Mike can hold his own in battle as a Chanter and Contact, which gives him the ability to summon a transforming weapon he has named Zero. Recently, he has found himself in the company of pirates and manages to blend in well despite his refined upbringing.
