Tippy is a below average human when it comes to everything but moxie. Small, mute, and generally powerless, Tippy always manages to still worm their way into some kind of trouble. Even when the going gets tough, Tippy has always managed to remarkably survive, reason for which is usually unknown other than that it boils down to the natural human senses of preservation. Tippy’s main life goal is to travel the world, meeting all types of new people and learning about different cultures.
Tippy stands at about 4’6 and weighs in at a meager 70lbs. They are pretty scrawny for a human but what lacks in areas of size and strength is made up for in agility. Tippy doesn’t often have a problem sneaking about undetected or otherwise. They are mute, though not deaf, due to a fateful encounter in their childhood. They are often forgotten about in formal settings or when facing up against entities that don’t particularly excel in the area of intelligence. Their stature benefits them in this way, often allowing them to slip away from conflict unless it’s intently directed toward them.
Tippy’s personality is generally welcoming, but sometimes hard to get the hang of due to them not being able to be vocal. They communicate mostly using expression and body language as they are still learning sign language and how to read or write.
Tippy’s intelligence is slightly below average, being extremely simplistic for a human and generally confused about everything unless in their specific areas of expertise and experience, namely survival, forest and rural settings’ flora and fauna, and studying behavior of both human and non-humanoid creatures. Although knowledgeable in these areas it is safe to say that Tippy has never been a school a day in their life, their past being characterized by becoming separated from their parents at the young age of 5 years old when their village caught ablaze in the dead of night. When the smoke cleared, the scene of the fire was desolate. Although there was a large amount of damage, not a lot of lives had been lost. Tippy’s father survived although comatose and horridly disfigured, but their mother had perished in the fire, and Tippy’s whereabouts became unknown. They hadn’t found a body, but speculated that the toddler had perished in the fire, and so Tippy’s miraculous disappearance was overlooked by the town. What really happened, was the unsupervised and generally rowdy toddler was roused in the dead of night due to the commotion, and decided to follow a fleeing dog out of town away from the flaming wreckage of the scene, unaware of what was going on. A truly miraculous accident, situationally unique from most. By the time the young Tippy realized they lost the trail of the dog, they were long lost in the surrounding woods. A child of their age did not know how to take care of themselves in these woods, but didn’t know their way back home either. Tippy wandered the woods alone and afraid for about a week, near starving to death before finding their way to the cottage of an old woodland dryad. The old lady dryad offered to take them in, raise them, and let them live in her presence at the cost of their voice. They complied, and for the rest of Tippy’s life until the age of 15 they stayed with the dryad woman named Naideera, and was her personal servant and aid in trade for her being their caretaker and mentor in until they reached maturity and are released into the world to pursue their life dream of adventure.
